MEP – Multi-engine piston engine
If you want to fly multi-engine land aircraft, you need the appropriate license: the class rating for multi-engine land aircraft (MEP land). We can provide cost-effective training on our Twin Comanche. Alternatively, we can also offer training on the Piper Seneca, Diamond DA42, or Diamond DA62. Please feel free to contact us.

Theory courses MEP
The theoretical training for the class rating comprises at least 7 hours.

Practical training MEP
The practical training lasts at least 6 hours. Here, we spend at least 3.5 hours dealing with special flight conditions (asymmetrical flight conditions with simulated engine failure).

Requirements MEP
- Valid EASA PPL-A or CPL-A
- Minimum flight experience of 70 hours as pilot-in-command on airplanes

License renewal
Class ratings are valid for 12 months. You can take a proficiency check with an examiner within 90 days before the class rating expires to renew the rating.
