EASA ATPL Fast Track Conversion

From the ICAO CPL/IR to the EASA Frozen ATPL from €9,592.95.

This is the simplest and most cost-effective way to carry out a conversion. First, we apply for an individually tailored approval.

Why FlyAviators?

  • Reasonably priced
  • The course can be taught entirely in English or German
  • Individual assessment of existing qualifications
  • No unnecessary flying hours
  • All approach types available in Hanover
  • EASA-approved flight school
  • Personalised support from experienced flight instructors
  • Transparent requirements right from the start

The procedure is as follows:

  • Online ATPL distance learning course, including face-to-face tuition via Zoom, followed by an examination set by the regulatory authority. In collaboration with www.cranfield.aero
  • 5 hours on the simulator (FNPT II)
  • 6 hours flight training on a multi-engine aircraft
  • 4 hours’ flight training on a single-engine aircraft
  • Practical examination (combined CPL, ME and IR)

After completion, you will be issued an EASA CPL with ME IR, including ATPL theory credit (frozen ATPL).

Our company has already helped hundreds of international pilots to convert their ICAO licences into EASA licences (from PPL to ATPL).

We have extensive experience in this field and currently have a 100% pass rate at the initial test. We always strive to make the training process as straightforward as possible for our clients. We apply for a personalised special permit without any red tape.

From the initial document review right through to your EASA Frozen ATPL – we’ll guide you through the entire conversion process.

1

Theory course

You can complete the theoretical ATPL training conveniently via an online course offered by Cranfield Aviation Deutschland (www.cranfield.aero). You can start the course at any time, and it uses state-of-the-art teaching materials.
The course is web-based and also includes the mandatory refresher training. The lecturers provide detailed explanations and clarify difficult topics within the specialist areas.

This is followed by the theory test at the Civil Aviation Authority.

2

Practical

The practical training comprises:

  • 5 hours on the simulator (FNPT II)
  • 6 hours flight training on a multi-engine aircraft
  • 4 hours’ flight training on a single-engine aircraft

The training course ends with a combined practical examination for the CPL, MEP and IR.

An additional check flight (VFR) is required for the SEP class rating.

3

Requirements

  • ICAO CPL including an instrument rating. If, as part of the conversion, the aim is to obtain an EASA CPL with a multi-engine (ME) instrument rating, the existing ICAO licence must include an ME IR.
  • You can start the theoretical part of the conversion without an EASA Class 1 medical certificate. However, it is required in order to complete the training.

We strongly recommend that you specify ‘Austria’ as the state of licence.

As a general rule, a reduced training programme is approved by the authority specified as the licensing state on the medical certificate. The various EASA authorities have different views on this matter, meaning that the scope of individual training programmes can vary considerably from one authority to another.
