CB-IR(A) multi-engine
CB-IR(A) multi-engine
Without an instrument flight rating, flights are generally conducted by sight and navigation is based on ground features. With an instrument rating, navigation is performed using radio navigation equipment and visibility outside the aircraft becomes less important. Landings using an instrument landing system (ILS), for example, are possible up to a decision height of 200 ft and a runway visual range of 550 m. An instrument rating also makes international flights much easier. The feeling of breaking through the cloud cover is unforgettable. Why not try an IFR trial flight and experience the joy of carefree flying for yourself?
We conduct training for instrument flight certification on a single-engine aircraft. This has the advantage of allowing us to focus on instrument flight procedures rather than on operating the aircraft as well. After completing the training, the instrument flight certification is extended to multi-engine aircraft, which we will discuss further below.
1
Theory courses CB-IR
The theoretical training must comprise a total of at least 7 hours. When extending an instrument rating from single-engine to multi-engine aircraft, no official theory examination is required.
2
Practical training CB-IR
The practical training lasts at least 6 hours on multi-engine aircraft. Simulator use is not planned for this training.
3
Requirements CB-IR
