EASA ATPL Fast Track Conversion
Transfer from an ICAO CPL with SE or ME IR to an EASA frozen ATPL
Our company has already helped hundreds of international pilots to convert an ICAO license into an EASA license (from PPL to ATPL). We are very experienced in this area, currently have a 1st time pass rate of 100% and always try to make training as easy as possible for our customers. We apply for an individual special permit without any red tape. As a rule, if an ICAO CPL with ME IR is available, this has the following scope:
- ATPL distance learning course incl. brush-up with subsequent examination at the authority
- 5 hours Simulator ( FNPT II )
- 6 hours of flight training on a multi-engine aircraft
- 4 hours of flight training on a single engine aircraft
- Practical exam (combined CPL, ME and IR)
If you passed a skill test, this leads to an EASA CPL with ME IR incl. ATPL theory credit (frozen ATPL).
With an existing ICAO CPL and SE (single engine) IR, the minimum training program is as follows:
- ATPL distance learning course incl. brush-up with subsequent examination at the authority
- 5 hours Simulator ( FNPT II )
- 5 hours flight training on a complex single engine aircraft
- 5 hours flight training on a single engine aircraft
- Practical exam ( combined CPL and IR )
If you passed a skill test, this leads to an EASA CPL with SE IR incl. ATPL theory credit (frozen ATPL).
We organize the training extremely efficiently and can usually complete the practical training within a week (assuming good flying weather and the aircraft is in good technical condition).
Requirements for training
- Valid ICAO CPL incl. Instrument Rating. If an EASA CPL with ME (multi engine) instrument rating is sought as part of the conversion, an ME IR must be on the existing ICAO license.
- Valid medical certificate (for the ICAO license). The theoretical part of the conversion can be started without an EASA Class I Medical. However, it is required to complete the training. We strongly recommend to nominate “Austria” as license state. A reduced training program is generally approved by the authority that is listed as the license state in the Medical. Different EASA authorities have different views and the scope of the special program can therefore vary greatly from authority to authority.
Course of training
There is a theoretical and a practial part of the training:
Theory
You complete the theoretical ATPL training conveniently via our distance learning course. The training can be started at any time and uses the most modern teaching materials. The training takes place as web-based training and also includes the prescribed face-to-face lessons, which you can joyn conveniently via Zoom. The lecturers explain in great detail and explain difficult topics within the subject areas. More information can be found at www.theorieschule.aero . This is followed by the theoretical test at the aviation authority.
Practice ( multi engine )
- 5 hours Simulator ( FNPT II )
- 6 hours of flight training on a multi-engine aircraft
- 4 hours flight training single engine
Practice ( single engine )
- 5 hours Simulator ( FNPT II )
- 5 hours flight training complex single engine
- 5 hours flight training single engine
Training costs
We can currently realize the training under the following conditions:
- € 15.884,98 EASA frozen ATPL with multi engine instrument rating(sample offer)
- € 12,355.90 EASA frozen ATPL with single engine instrument rating (sample offer)
If you have already passed the EASA ATPL theory test, the above prices are reduced by € 3,750.
Please note that our offers are non-binding estimates and we cannot guarantee that the desired training objective can be achieved with the minimum hours.
