EASA ATPL Fast Track Conversion
Conversion ICAO CPL, ME IR into an EASA fATPL
This is the easiest and cheapest way to carry out a conversion. We apply for an special individual permit. This follows so:
- ATPL distance learning course incl. Local instruction with subsequent examination at the authority
- 5 hours Simulator ( FNPT II )
- 6 hours of flight training on a multi-engine aircraft
- 4 hours of flight training on a single engine aircraft
- Practical exam (combined CPL, ME and IR)
After graduation, this leads to an EASA CPL with ME IR incl. ATPL theory credit (frozen ATPL).
EASA Conversion with an experience of min. 50h PIC IFR
This possibility results due to legal regulations and is always available, regardless if a special exemption has been issued. If you hold a valid ICAO CPL with ME IR, we recommend our EASA Fast Track Conversion due to lower costs.
Requirements for training
- ICAO license (PPL or CPL)
- Valid ICAO instrument rating
- Valid ICAO medical for the associated ICAO license.
- Proof of flying experience of at least 50 hours of instrument flight rules (IFR) after the authorization has been granted. These hours need to have been flown based on an IFR flight plan. Not necessarily in IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions).
EASA Conversion without min.
- Proof of previous instrument flight training. This does not necessarily have to be completed.
